Hello there.
I'm making this suggestion while being quite angry.... I'll try to keep my cool but the reason for that request is that since i gave the name of my team voice channel in Dust, we've been having people coming in to insult us, troll us etc.... Those childish behavior, wich are sadly frequent are the most annoying thing in videogames nowadays.
We tried to add a password to the channel but it didnt change anything. We couldnt figure out if adding the password ever worked or if it just doesnt apply to people who already joined it.
Now, i was surprised to see that there are no "admin" options. I mean, people who create a channel should have basic commands such as "kick" "ban" "promote as admin".
If you want to avoid having wars on your voice channel because of stupid child who can't stand losing and find it amusing to waste time boring people to death, then fixing the password system and adding a basic tool for managing those is absolutely vital.
PS: to the guys who came insult us for no reason, just know that 2-3 people from my team pretty much ALWAYS record their game session with HD-PVR, and that includes sound. So, we got you insulting us on "tape". Quit doing that or i'll have to ask for appropriate response like in any other game. And using alts will be of no use if you ever heard of mac and ip adress |

Timothy Reaper wrote:Suggestions for implementation: Whoever makes the channel is the Administrator, who can create/change the password and ban players, either temporarily or permanently. Moderators are appointed by the Administrator and can issue temporary bans; basically their job is to keep the peace until the Administrator returns. Temporary bans last for 24 hours.
Also, the ban could apply the PSN I.D. instead of the player's name, since there are those who create an alternate character for the sole purpose of trolling. I know this wouldn't stop a determined troll, but it should discourage the average child or child-like adult.
Pretty much sums up what i had in mind. |
